Today I am thankful for food. I love food and feel lucky that I am able to have so much of it. I love that there are so many different foods to eat. Thank you to all of the farmers, cooks, food vendors and all the others that help provide my family with food.
Today I am thankful for rainbows. Rainbows are a little reminder that something beautiful can follow a storm. They are a bit of happiness and beauty on a gloomy day. Rainbows are a nice surprise that always bring a smile to my face. Thank you to the light and water droplets for creating such a beautiful display of color.
Today I am thankful for the television show ‘Dr. Who’. It is one of my family’s favorites and we love to watch it with our friends. Need I say more? Thank you to the everyone who works so hard to bring us ‘Dr. Who’.
Today, and everyday, I am thankful for my mother. There are just not words to say how much my mom means to me. I know that my mother loves me in a way that no one else will ever come close to achieving. The love parents feel for their children is very special and like no other. My mother has always been in my corner no matter what. She has taught me countless lessons about life and has shaped who I am today. I feel very fortunate to have such a great relationship with my mother. Thank you, Mom, for bringing me into this world and being you.
Happy Thanksgiving! Today I am thankful for friendship. I have so many good friends. Some friends are life long friends and some I have only known a short time, but I cherish them all. Thank you all for being my friends!
Today I am thankful for sleep. I love sleep. Sleep is my friend. I have always loved sleep, even as a child. Thank you Mr. Sandman!
Today I am thankful for love. Love is the thing that keeps us going, warms our hearts and just feels good. There are all kinds of love and they are all wonderful. Thanks to everyone for all of the love!
Today I am thankful for chocolate. I love chocolate. Chocolate candy, chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, everything chocolate! Thank you to the people who make all of the yummy chocolate treats for me to consume.
Today, and everyday, I am thankful for grandparents. I adored my grandparents and had a very special relationship with my Grandpa. Grandparents get to do all the fun stuff with their grandchildren without having to deal with raising them- win, win! Now I get to watch my children enjoy their grandparents and it warms my heart. My children are fortunate enough to still have 5 grandparents (one of them is a great grandma) living.
Today I am thankful for the visual arts. I love to look at art and see into the minds of others. No 2 pieces of art are alike and the possibilities are infinite. I love that my kids have always had the opportunity to express themselves through the visual arts. Thank you to all who have created art in this world.
