This week’s Throwback Thursday takes us on a first day of school journey.  Here is Matilda on her first day of school from preschool through senior year.  It doesn’t seem possible that my baby will be a high school graduate in June.

The Last First Day of School

This morning I took Paxton’s picture on the first day of school for the last time. Just yesterday I snapped his picture out on the sidewalk before walking him to his first day of Kindergarten. Today he started his Senior year. I cannot believe how fast it went.

Throwback Thursday

This week takes us back to September 2003. This was Paxton’s first day of Pre-K at the ABC Preschool in Arlington, MA. The class was given homework that day (fun homework). Paxton raised his hand and said, very emphatically, “I don’t DO homework!”. On Tuesday, Paxton begins his Senior year of high school and he still tries not to do homework.

First Day of School 2015

Today is the first day of school. I now have a Junior in high school (gasp!) and an 8th grader. This year the older one (who is not pictured here) leaves the house at about the same time as the younger one needs to wake up so no photos of them together. With the later start for middle school, Matilda and her friends had loads of time to pose for photos. They were very cooperative models.
