Looking Out at Scranton Lace

This past summer I spent a day at Scranton Lace attending an Abandoned America Photography workshop. It was an amazing experience. I met some really talented photographers and learned a great deal. Photographing this place was overwhelming and I only saw a fraction of what there was to see. That day I took photo after photo just trying to take it all in and I managed to capture some great shots. The thing that fascinated me most about Scranton Lace was its windows. There were a lot of them and every one of them had a story. Here a few of those stories.

The Loom

I recently had the opportunity to go to the abandoned Scranton Lace Factory and attend a photography workshop through Abandoned America. This was an amazing experience. I know I only saw a fraction of what there was to see and I hope I get the chance to return. Here are my first set of photos from there. This is the loom that is still set up.
