See the cute little dog? That is Francie and she is an escape artist. Over the weekend she managed to get out of our yard several times. Each time, we checked the fence for gaps at the bottom where she might be getting out. After about the third time there were no more gaps at the bottom. It became clear that she was going OVER the fence, not under. Upon closer inspection we found scratches under the window ledge where she had scrambled to pull herself up. She was jumping onto the window ledge and then jumping over the fence to freedom. Finally, we put some of our lawn ornaments in the window to deter her. So far she has not escaped again.
