Today I am thankful for love. There all kinds of love. Love for your children, romantic love, platonic love, love for your family, love for pets, love for a special object, love of your country, love for your friends. Really, I could go on like that a lot longer because love is everywhere. We just need to see it. We need to give love and receive love. In the end, love wins. Thank you to my friends and family for your love.

This week takes us all the way back to March 12, 1966 according to the writing on the back of this photo. I opened up an old photo album this morning in search of a photo for today and this one caught my eye. It is so sweet. The baby is my older brother Bill at about 6 weeks old with our Dad looking at him. Notice Dad. There is not much of him in the picture, not even his full face, yet there is such emotion conveyed. It is clear that he is smiling at his son and his love shines through. I have to confess that I never really noticed this photo before today. I love it. Happy Throwback Thursday!
