This morning I took Paxton’s picture on the first day of school for the last time. Just yesterday I snapped his picture out on the sidewalk before walking him to his first day of Kindergarten. Today he started his Senior year. I cannot believe how fast it went.
Today is the first day of school. I now have a Junior in high school (gasp!) and an 8th grader. This year the older one (who is not pictured here) leaves the house at about the same time as the younger one needs to wake up so no photos of them together. With the later start for middle school, Matilda and her friends had loads of time to pose for photos. They were very cooperative models.
Today we go back to the first day of school 2012. It was Paxton’s first day of 8th grade and Matilda’s first day of 5th grade. Today, hopefully (I am writing this early so I do not know if the teachers are on strike or not), is Matilda’s first day of 8th grade and Paxton’s first day of 11th grade. They grow up so fast.
