Today is my Mommy’s birthday! My daughter would say, “You’re old” to her, but I will remind my mom that someone very special once told me, “You’re as young as you feel, kid”. I feel very fortunate to have been raised by such a strong, amazing and loving mother. Mom, I cherish you every day and really love the friendship we have now. Happy Birthday to the best mom ever!
My mother has baked me this same cake for my birthday for over 40 years!
One of my fondest childhood memories is baking cookies with Mom and now I enjoy seeing this tradition repeated with my daughter.
