This week takes us back to January 2009. Matilda and her friends got to see The Wizard of Oz at the Scranton Cultural Center and I made them Wizard of Oz skirts for the occasion. Look how cute they are holding hands.

This week takes us back to June 2009. Here are the girls all decked out in their Oz skirts and bows (and bib) for LMSD’s cast party.
This week’s knick knack is my scarecrow bell. Jim’s grandma gave me this bell many years ago when she found out how much I love The Wizard of Oz. It was part of her knick knack collection and now it is part of mine.
This week’s knick knack is my Wicked Witch cow. She sits on a shelf next to cow Dorothy and is most likely hatching an evil plan. I just love the face on this piece. Wicked Witch cow is quite scary looking.
This week’s knick knack is my set of Wizard of Oz salt & pepper shakers. I have these because I am a huge ‘Wizard of Oz’ fan. I have never actually put salt & pepper in these shakers. They sit on a shelf to be admired. That is all.
This week’s knick knack is Dorothy from ‘The Wizard of Oz’ as a cow. This figurine is so whimsical and fun. I just love her.
This week’s knick knack is my Wizard of Oz “Nobody Gets In To See The Wizard, No Way No How” wooden plaque. It was given to me because I love everything Oz.
