This week we go way back to 1984 to show what happens to school pictures after the ‘Summer of Sun-In’. In the Summer of ’84, my cousin and I, convinced of its results because of ads like the one shown here, decided to use Sun-In in our hair. This went really well for Laurie, but not so well for me. It actually looked decent at first- my hair had lighter brown highlights, but then it settled in and became ORANGE. By the time school picture time came around, it had grown out some, leaving my hair looking VERY bad. The only good thing about this whole thing was that yearbook pictures were printed in black and white then. Needless to say, I have never used Sun-In again.
