Happy Thanksgiving! Today I am thankful for pie. I love Thanksgiving. It is one of my favorite days of the year. What could be better than a big feast with family and being grateful for all that you have? Our big feast always ends with pie. Lots and lots of pie. We usually make fresh whipped cream for the pie as a family and then we dig in to that yummy dessert. Today’s pies will be apple (made by the girl), chocolate cream and peanut butter cream (made by the bakers at Wegman’s. Their pie rivals my mother’s which is VERY impressive). Tomorrow I will have pumpkin pie made by my mom when we visit. I am going to be one happy pie eater. Thank you to all of the amazing pie bakers out there baking pie for me to eat.
