This week’s knick knack is my Pennsylvania Dutch Country kitchen timer. I acquired this on a trip to Lancaster, PA in 1984. My grandfather took my cousin and I with him to a heating supplies convention. We had a lot of fun getting heating supply swag, swimming and exploring the hotel. Grandpa bought us each a kitchen timer as a souvenir. I keep my timer on the window sill above my kitchen sink. Looking at it brings back fond memories of our trip and Grandpa.
